Hannah Howard Andresen
Hannah Howard Andresen studies Bachelor of Orchestral Conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music with prof. Ole Kristian Ruud and Sigmund Thorp. At the age of 22 she has been conducting several of Norwegian Professional orchestras such as Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra and Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. During her studies she has participated in numbers of masterclasses with Christian Ehwald, Vasily Petrenko and Sascha Götzel. Last summer she was a conducting fellow at Aspen Music Festival 2018. She is the 1st. Prize winner of "Berlingske Tidende Musikkonkurrence" and "Unge Spiller Klassisk" at piano. In 2018 she played concerts for the Swedish and Norwegian Embassy in Amman Jordan. Gunvald Ottesen
Gunvald Ottesen is currently studying masters in orchestral conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, with prof. B Tommy Andersson. He did his bachelor degree in orchestral conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with prof. Ole Kristian Ruud and Sigmund Thorp, as well as one year as an exchange student in Stockholm, with Glenn Mossop. He has for several years conducted productions at the Oslo Operafestival. In 2018, he assisted Gregor Bühl at the Norwegian Opera College’s production of «Le Nozze di Figaro» which played at Scene 2 in the Norwegian National Opera, where he also conducted one of the shows. In the winter of 2020, he will be working as assistant conductor to Benjamin Bayl at Norrlandsoperan in Sweden, in a production of «Don Giovanni». Photo: Birgit Solhaug
Daniel Reith
Daniel Reithis studying Master in Conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music with Prof. Ole Kristian Ruud. Previously he has been studying piano in Freiburg and Oslo, Music theory in Freiburg and Conducting in Frankfurt am Main. Reith is a holder of several scholarships, e.g. of the Wagner-association Frankfurt am Main and the "German Ministry of Culture and Education". He showed himself also strongly as a pianist, both in concerts and competitions, in Germany, Norway and many other countries. Reith has been working with several orchestras throughout Germany and Norway, such as Hamburg Philharmonic, Neubrandenburg Philharmonic, Bergen Philharmonic and Stavanger Symphony. Tom Ole Elgsaas
Tom Ole Elgsaas studies bachelor in conducting at the University of Stavanger with teacher Peter Ettrup Larsen. He has also studied conducting with Trond Korgård, Ole Kristian Ruud, Mark Heron, Bjarte Engeset, Mark Stringer and trombone with Professor Per Kristian Svensen. Tom Ole was born in the small town of Kristiansund in Norway known for it's opera production since the late 1800's. During his upbringing he was an active participant to the rich music environment here. He will be studying conducting at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm during the spring of 2019. Guro Ansteensen Haugli
Guro Ansteensen Haugli is a master student of conducting at the University of Stavanger, and has previously completed a bachelor degree and extension studies in conducting from the same institution. Haugli has participated at several masterclasses with professional ensembles in Norway, including Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Trondheim Symphony Orchestra. She has studied conducting at Musikene in San Sebastian, Spain as well as in masterclasses abroad, including Manchester and Budapest. Since the fall of 2017 she has been the teacher of ensemble conducting at the University of Stavanger. Haugli is also the coordinator of the conducting course «Conductor's week» held in Stavanger. Elsine Haugstad
Elsine Haugstad has studied piano and conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music, studied in Germany with prof. Klemm (HfM Carl Maria von Weber Dresden) and prof. Borin (HMDK Stuttgart). She assisted a production at Semperoper Junge Szene, and performed Vorspiel & Liebestod from Tristan & Isolde with the Württembergische Philharmonie at her master’s exam (2017). During her studies, she has led performances with the Stuttgarter Philharmoniker, Stuttgarter Kammerorchester, Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester, Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie, Südwestdeutsches Kammerorchester, Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Dresden, Orchester der Staatsoperette Dresden, Erzgebirgische Philharmonie, Elblandphilharmonie Sachsen and Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie. She works regularly with Lillehammer Symfoniorkester. Elsine has been an active participant in masterclasses with J. Panula, J.Schlaefli, A. Vedernikov, W.Weller, A. Almila, O.K. Ruud, E. Aage Richard Meyer
Aage Richard Meyer, is currently studying his master’s degree at the University of Stavanger under the guidance of Peter Ettrup Larsen. His previous studies were at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He has attended masterclasses both domestically and internationally, conducting ensembles such as the Moravian Philharmonic, Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Navy Band Bergen, The Royal Navy Band Horten, and The Royal Air Force Band. Previous Teachers include Ole Kristian Ruud, Sigmund Thorp and Trond Korsgård, and he has had lessons from conductors such as Mark Stringer, Vasily Petrenko, Juanjo Mena, Alim sHakh, Antonino Fogliani and Atso Almila. Eirik Haukaas Ødegaard
Eirik Haukaas Ødegaard is a Norwegian conductor. He studied conducting and percussion at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where he got his bachelors and masters under Ole Kristian Ruud. Currently he is taking a post-graduate degree at the Royal Danish Academy og music under Giordano Bellincampi. He has also attended masterclasses with other great conductors and teachers such as Kenneth Kiesler, Michael Schønwandt, Mark Stinger, Atso Almila and Vasily Petrenko. Through his education he has conducted several professional orchestras and wind bands, such as Århus Symphony Orchestra, South Denmark Philharmonic, Royal Norwegian Navy Band, Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces and most recently the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, with whom he had his masters exam in spring 2018.
